Zumba !!!
Primary 3-7 children are very lucky to have the opportunity of experiencing Zumba classes for 10 weeks this term with qualified dance and Zumba instructor Rachel Stanfield.
Zumba is a fitness craze that has swept the nation. It involves dance and aerobic elements.
Zumba's choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts and some Bollywood and belly dance moves.
It's great to see both boys and girls getting fit and having fun in this energetic class.
The classes are being held at the following times -
Tuesday 3-4pm P3 & P4
Friday 3-4pm P5-7

Arts Showcase April 2011 We had a variety gala just before Easter 2011 to showcase the work going on in school in relation to the Arts. The children danced, sang, recited poetry, played their musical instruments and performed three plays: The Circus, The Jungle Book and Oliver Twist. The parents were then provided with refreshments whilst they admired all the children’s artwork on display around the hall. The pupils were wonderful and parents should be very proud of their talented children!
